This savoury and satisfying skillet meal is perfect for those on a ketogenic diet. Juicy and tender steak slices are matched with crunchy and nutritious broccoli florets. Sizzling together in a sizzling hot skillet, the mix of textures and flavours is sure to please any meat lover. The steak is seasoned to perfection, adding just the right amount of zing to the dish. It’s a quick and easy meal that can be whipped up in no time, perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends. Not only is it low-carb and high in protein, but it’s also a great way to use up any leftover steak or vegetables in your fridge. In just one skillet, you’ve got a complete and hearty meal, a true ketogenic winner!

Ingredients:
 
85g Beef Steak
 
0.5 tbsp Olive Oil
 
1.5 tbsp Butter
 
2 tsp Lemon Juice
 
2 tbsp Beef Broth
 
1 tbsp Parsley
 
1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes
 
1 tbsp Thyme
 
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
 
0.5 tbsp Sriracha
 
1 clove Garlic Cloves
 
22g (0.33 cup) Broccoli

Instructions:
1.

For the marinade, combine soy sauce, half of the olive oil, and sriracha in a bowl

Add the steak strips into the marinade and marinate in the refrigerator for 15-20 min

Meanwhile, in a saucepan, bring water to a boil, add the broccoli and boil for 1-2 min

Then rinse with cold water

Heat the remaining olive oil and half of the butter in a skillet over medium-high

Add the steak strips and fry for 2-3 min on each side until the edges are crispy and browned

Remove the steak strips from the skillet and set them aside to a plate

Using the same skillet, lower the heat to medium

Melt the remaining butter, then add lemon juice, garlic, beef broth, and the remaining marinade juices

Bring to a simmer, then stir in the parsley, broccoli, then toss regularly, until the broccoli cooks to your liking

Add the steak strips back to the skillet to reheat quickly

Serve immediately, then sprinkle thyme and red pepper flakes (optional) on top
