The star of the show, though, is the luxurious sauce that elevates the flavours of the dish. Its rich, smooth texture and savoury taste perfectly complement the delicate flavours of the salmon and the slightly bitter notes of the broccoli. This dish is a perfect way to enjoy a satisfying, low-carb meal that delivers on taste and nutrition.

Ingredients:
 
20g Cheddar Cheese
 
2 pinches Ground Black Pepper
 
25g Mayonnaise
 
60g Broccoli
 
25g Butter
 
2 pinches Salt
 
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
 
115g Salmon Fillet
 
1 tsp Parsley

Instructions:
1.

Preheat an oven to 200°C

In a small bowl mix together mayonnaise and lemon juice

Set aside for later

Cut the broccoli into smaller florets and let them simmer in lightly salted water for 2 min

Drain the broccoli and set it aside

5.

Place the drained broccoli in a baking dish

Add a pinch of salt, a pinch of ground black pepper, and 22 g of melted butter

Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top of the broccoli and bake in the oven for 10-15 min or until the cheese turns golden

In the meantime, season salmon with salt and ground black pepper

Heat the remaining butter in a small frying pan over medium heat

Add seasoned salmon to the pan and fry for 4-5 min on each side, until the salmon is nicely browned

Salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork

Serve the salmon on a plate with broccoli and cheese mixture

Garnish with parsley and drizzle the lemon mayonnaise over the salmon
